Subject: Diplomatic Communication Regarding Visa Coordination and Bilateral Security


Dear Sir/Madam,

The United States Embassy in Dhaka extends its highest regards to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and wishes to communicate the following with reference to recent developments concerning immigration and bilateral travel protocols between our two nations.

In light of enhanced visa screening procedures being implemented globally by the United States Department of State, we kindly request the Ministry’s continued cooperation in facilitating documentation, identity verification, and relevant background assessments of individuals applying for U.S. travel documents from Bangladesh.

We further propose a technical meeting between officials of the U.S. Embassy and designated representatives of your Ministry to streamline diplomatic, student, and official visa processing. The Embassy values Bangladesh's longstanding partnership and remains committed to ensuring secure and efficient bilateral mobility for diplomatic personnel and citizens alike.
